My 2nd rendition of Lana Del Rey

I love her vintage hairstyles, I just had to draw this picture <3 And I rememberd to put my signature in there for once!
I think my scanner doesn't like the paper I use, all my scans seem to have a lot of noise in them while the actual drawings look much smoother. And there's quite a few white hairs on the edges that didn't make it to the scanned image... I'll try using a different kind of paper from now on. Still, I hope you guys like it!

Materials: H, 2B, 4B, 8B pencils, various erasers and blending stick and tissue on W&N smooth paper.

Oh, I really love it, my favorite singer... I'm a beginner at portraits (never was a traditionalist 
) and I have huge problem with hair texture - I can't figure out how to draw them so natural, how to do highlights? Any advice?
